This page is designed to prepare you for your Flash Talk presentation at the conference. Please visit this page regularly for updates on technical requirements, deadlines, and general information.

Flash Talk Presentations

Certain abstracts have been selected for Flash Talk Presentations. These short, moderated sessions will take place at designated times at the E-Poster stations in the Exhibition Area and in the Poster Area at the Skalkotas Foyer onsite.

  • Timing: Presenters are allocated 5 minutes total (3 minutes for presentation + 2 minutes for discussion/Q&A).

  • Location & Onsite Logistics: Presenters and chairs are requested to arrive at their designated session area 10 minutes before the start of the session and remain present until the session concludes.

  • Format & Audience: All onsite participants are invited to attend the presentations and engage in Q&A. Each session will be guided by two session chairs/moderators.

As a featured printed Flash Talk presenter you will need to:

  • Register for the conference*

  • Prepare a printed poster following the printed poster guidelines here and bring it onsite to mount on your designated poster board (more details will be shared via this page and sent via email to presenting authors closer to the conference).

  • Prepare a short talk (up to 3 minutes) to be held during your designated slot in front of your printed poster in the poster area during your Flash Talk session. There will be no slideshow presentation.

  • Prepare and upload a 1-page E-Poster PDF file following the E-Poster guidelines here (portrait orientation, uploaded via the submission portal prior to the deadline) if you wish to have it displayed in the E-Poster stations and Online Poster Gallery.

*If you or another of your co-authors will not be able to attend the conference in person, please contact us urgently at [email protected]. Featured printed Flash Talks presentations are scheduled to take place only live onsite and if you are unable to travel to Athens, your presentation type will be changed to E-Poster Viewing only.

As a featured electronic Flash Talk presenter you will need to:

  • Register for the conference*
  • Prepare and upload a 1-page E-Poster PDF file following the E-Poster guidelines here (portrait orientation, uploaded via the submission portal prior to the deadline). This will be used for your presentation at your assigned E-Poster station in the Exhibition Area.
  • Prepare a short talk (up to 3 minutes) to be held during your designated slot at your assigned E-Poster station during your Flash Talk session. There will be no slideshow presentation beyond your single-page E-Poster.
  • Prepare a printed poster following the printed poster guidelines here if you wish to have it displayed on a poster board in the poster area during designated times onsite. If you prefer to present using an E-Poster only, please let us know.

Featured  electronic Flash Talks presentations are scheduled to take place only live onsite and if you are unable to travel to Athens, your presentation type will be changed to E-Poster Viewing only.
