The International Papillomavirus Society (IPVS) is organizing an Anogenital HPV Course as part of the 38th International Papillomavirus Conference (IPVS 2026) in Athens, Greece.
This course is designed to provide participants with the latest evidence and practical skills for managing anogenital HPV-related diseases, offering the opportunity to learn from and interact with leading experts in the field.

Course Structure
The course is structured around three anatomical modules
Cervix
Vulva/Vagina
Anus/Perianus
Topics include
Epidemiology, screening, and treatment of all anogenital HPV-related diseases, as well as site-specific clinical considerations.
A dedicated session on case-based discussions will allow participants to apply knowledge in real-world scenarios. This modular structure distinguishes the course from the IPVS Conference Clinical, Public Health, and Basic Workshops.
Additionally, a half-day workshop is available on High-Resolution Anoscopy or Colposcopy.

- Discuss the epidemiology of anogenital HPV-associated diseases
- Describe available screening options and current recommendations for anogenital precancerous lesions
- Review prevention strategies, including the role of prophylactic HPV vaccines
- Outline treatment options for anogenital precancerous lesions
- Summarize current recommendations for screening and treatment at each anogenital site
- Apply knowledge to case-based discussions of anogenital HPV

Registration
This is an in-person course only, open to both IPVS members and non-members. Participants may register for the course and the two workshops independently, similar to the conference registration process.
There is no limit on the number of course participants.
